what security precautions does Club Joy take? All of our recipient data is encrypted and stored securely offline. Club Joy founder Alyssa is the only person with access to your personal details - no one else will ever see our recipient information. We won't keep your data any longer than we need it!

how is Club Joy funded? Currently, Club Joy is totally self-funded, but we're open to small donations, especially of fun stationery items or stamps! You can also sponsor a package if you'd like! The average cost of our happy mail is about $5 per parcel. Contact us to connect more on this!

how can I help? The most impactful way to support the project is to share it with folks who may be interested! At the moment, we're not looking for volunteers, but down the road there may be opportunities to write encouraging notes that we can include in our happy mail!

We allow for all kinds of safety accommodations for folks who need them: alternative names on the envelope, avoiding any LGBTQ-themed items in the package, etc. We ask that you do not send Club Joy to anyone whose safety could be jeopardized by receiving it.
